Deena K Varghese is a Clinical psychologist as well as an academician. She holds an M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from IMHANS, Kozhikode and earned Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore. She has received supervised training in psychometric assessments and psychotherapeutic interventions. She renders her services to clients with a range of mental health issues and has experience of working with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical settings. She has an expertise in psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, family therapy & behaviour therapy.

Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor at LISSAH, Kaithapoyil, Kozhikode. She has presented numerous papers in the field of Clinical Psychology in national and international seminars and published a couple of research papers in international journals. In association with UNICEF & Childline, she had been involved in the translation of "Psychosocial support for children during COVID- 19- A manual for parents and caregivers" and had been part of providing orientation to Childline functionaries in Kerala. She is keenly interested in qualitative research.
