Idha has given me a phenomenal opportunity to work as a consultant psychologist along with intense training. I personally feel that idha is one of best place for exemplary training in psychotherapy. When I have joined Idha I was skeptical about my performance, and proficiency. I was not confident enough to take cases. But supervisions and guidance of our supervisor helped me to build confidence to handle cases in a very effective way. Supervision sessions aided every therapist to go through multiple case discussions and helped to enhance my therapeutic skills. Personally, I consider group therapy as one of the core attractions of idha’s training. It was the first time that I have attended an analytically oriented group therapy. Weekly group therapy helped to understand more about myself when I am in a group. It also helped me to merge more into our group. Conferences and classes helped me to gain academical knowledge along with practical knowledge. Acquisition of practical knowledge is the biggest asset that I have earned from this program. Idha Mindcare helped me to transform from an amateur therapist to a professional one.
Suggestions
As our program basically focuses on psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy, I personally feel that other model of therapy can be also included in the training programme. More academical classes can be included in our program.

View profileSix months internship at Idha mindcare as a psychotherapist trainee was an immense experience. What really attracted me to do internship at Idha was the opportunity they’re providing for the postgraduates to practice psychotherapy. The working hour was flexible with a very good personal and work life balance. The job environment was also good with supportive and well experienced faculties and enthusiastic colleagues. The other existing part of the training programme was supervision and group therapy where you could interact with both the faculties and colleagues, discuss about the cases, and share your observations regarding the cases. These all are the highlights that make Idha’s training progarmme stand out from other psychology internships. As a drawback I could say that the mode I chose was online, which limits the face-to-face physical interaction with others. Overall, after completing my training at Idha, I feel confident enough to consider myself as a professional therapist and this journey brought changes in my personality too. Thanks to Idha mindcare for providing the best for us.
