Informed consent is the document that shares the information regarding the proposed counseling or psychotherapy process with the client, which helps them to take informed decisions. This collaboration helps us to build a positive working relationship with the client in which trust and openness are encouraged. It also offers the therapist a chance to prevent ethical violations and/or legal liability that may occur during the course of treatment.
Please take your time to read the consent form carefully. If you have any queries, please discuss the same with your therapist during the first session. The duly signed form must be submitted before the first therapy session
